Surgical procedures are sometimes necessary when it comes to caring for the heart. If you do need heart surgery, all of our surgeons are board certified in cardiac surgery.

Comprehensive Cardiothoracic Surgery
Cardiothoracic surgery involves surgery of the heart and great blood vessels, lungs, bronchial tubes, esophagus, upper stomach, and supporting structures such as the ribs and muscles of the chest wall.

Our cardiothoracic surgeons are highly skilled in all aspects of cardiothoracic surgery including coronary bypass and heart valve replacement. We also have expertise in a number of unusually complex operations such as:

• Aortic homograft

• Aneurysm repair

• Transmyocardial revascularization(TMR)

• Heart transplantation

We perform a variety of cardiothoracic surgical procedures including:

• Coronary artery bypass graft (CABG), or open heart surgery

• Beating heart bypass surgery, or off-pump coronary artery bypass (OPCAB)

• Sutureless vascular graft surgery
