In a unique effort to fight hepatitis in the greater Los Angeles area, St. Vincent Medical Center has opened the Asian Pacific Liver Center (APLC), the only clinic in Southern California dedicated to the prevention, detection and treatment of hepatitis, with special emphasis on the high rate of disease in the Asian-American Community.

We are pleased to announce two new medical directors at St. Vincent Medical Center: Dr. Alexander Marmureanu, Medical Director of Cardiothoracic Surgery and Dr. James McPherson, Medical Director of Cardiovascular Surgery. The addition of these distinguished surgeons to our medical leadership team will help us enhance the quality and comprehensiveness of care for our patients.
