The objective of the center is to:

  • Provide outreach education about programs and services available to the community, and scheduling for programs and events that foster community health and wellness for residents
  • Improve access to health care and human services for the diverse residents of Los Angeles, including children, teens, seniors and families
  • Provide ongoing case management and support for families who may experience any type of difficulty related to their health care program needs
  • Serve staff and affiliated community physicians by providing support services essential for promoting their medical practices
  • Provide a dependable, trusted referral mechanism for social service agencies, schools, churches and community-based organizations.

In addition, HBRC provides ongoing case management and support for families who may experience any type of difficulty related to their enrollment and/or access to their benefits.  The center performs ongoing outreach to educate its community about the benefits and safeguards that come with participation in valuable government-sponsored benefits programs.
