Life Insurance

Long-Term Disability

Short Term Disability
40% of base salary after 14 days of disability. Optional percentage levels available

Paid Leave
Enables associates to received pay while taking time away from work for vacation, holidays, first 3 days of sick and personal time off.  Accruals are calculated per pay period after three months of full-time employment.  Hours accrued is based on length of service.

Sick Leave
Associates accrues 1.85 hours per pay period after three months of full-time employment;  Hours can be used for any type of illness after three days

Transit Reimbursement
Associates are reimbursed for using public transportation 75% of the cost of the monthly pass

Tuition Reimbursement
St. Vincent Medical Center offers tuition reimbursement after (1) year full-time employment up to $1,200 per year.

529 Educational Savings Plan
529 Educational Savings Plan can offer you the ability to help save for a college education for you, your children or someone else you may wish to designate.

Tax Shelter Annuity (TSA) 403(b)
Allows associates to save for retirement on a pretax basis; SVMC matches 35% up to the first 5% of  gross earnings after 1,000 hours of service; 100% vested after 5 years of service

Pension Plan
Supplemental benefits for retirement provided by DOCHS; No associate contributions; 100% vested after five years of service

Credit Union
A full service financial institution.  Associates are eligible to participate as of date of hire.

Associate Discounts
Associates are eligible for 10% discount in our gift shop and 30% in the cafeteria from date of hire

Center for Health & Healing – a place where one seeks an alternative approach to treat not only the physical form but also your mind and spirit.  Services offered such as acupuncture, acupressure, and massage therapy, herbal therapy, relaxation therapy, fitness training, nutritional guidance and educational classes are all offered at reduced rates for our associates.
